The rehabilitation process here is about more than just “planting trees.” It’s a science-based transition involving:

• Agro-forestry: Planting cacao, dragon fruit, and pineapples to ensure local livelihoods continue.
• Water Management: Using advanced siltation ponds and “rain-fed” irrigation to protect the nearby coastline.

Today, the site is evolving into an Agrotourism Hub, proving that responsible resource development can leave the environment better than it was found.
